What weather is Ideal for Drone Photography?

Sunny or partly cloudy weather usually provides the best natural lighting, and our drone can operate in winds of up to 30kph.

Is Jupiter Media Qualified to use a drone commercially?

Yes. We currently hold a Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) approved by the Civil Aviation Safety Administration (CASA).

Can you film with a drone near an airport?

CASA regulations prevent us from flying within 5km of any major airport, however we can fly near untrafficked airstrips if air traffic is clear.

Can you film indoors with a drone?

Yes we can. With propeller guards equipped, our drone can be flown safely indoors without a risk of causing any damage.

Do I need to be on site during filming or photography?

You are always welcome to be on site when we film or take photos, but this won’t always be necessary depending on the job.

how will I receive my files?

We are happy to work with our clients to select a delivery method that best suits their needs.

Our standard approach is to send files to you via the internet or by mail on a portable hard drive or USB flash drive, depending on the size of the project.
